Mr. Boogie Woogie & the Firesweep Blues Band

Image of 'Mr. Boogie Woogie & the Firesweep Blues Band' Eric-Jan Overbeek (1967) had his first piano lessons at the age of eight and began his musical career playing classical piano in church. At fourteen, he heard Fats Domino play the Swanee River Boogie and it became clear that he wanted to be a boogie-woogie man. Soon he discovered Dutch boogie players like André Valkering and the legendary Rob Hoeke, who became a good friend until he passed away in 1999. Of course he listened to Albert Ammons, Meade Lux Lewis and Pete Johnson (the three “kings of boogie- woogie”) but being invited on stage by Hoeke and Valkering influenced his playing even more. Jason Turner

Image of 'Jason Turner' A seasoned performer from the London jazz and avant-garde scene, performing and recording as a freelance artist in Europe and India.

With a background in jazz, soul/Motown and the avant-garde, now focussing on electronic music collaborations with funk, techno, trance and DnB producers and DJs.

Performed and recorded between 2002 and 2003 with Gujurati multipercussionist Sandeep Raval, multipercussionist and rhythm composer Sivamani and world music producer James Asher.

Performed and recorded since 2006 with the Joost van Oosten Band.

Frontman Tony Wilson ('The Young James Brown') is blessed by James Brown himself.

Tony Wilson is also the frontman of the tribute tour with the original JB's; Bootsy Collins, Phelps 'Catfish' Collins, John 'Jabo' Starks, Fred Wesley, Johnny Griggs, Vicky Anderson-Byrd, Tomi Rae Brown and more legendary musicians!

Tony's European band consists of 9 musicians with (inter)national experience in soul, jazz, R&B and of course: funk!

The Splendid Guitars

With two guitars and a acoustic bass they bring a repertoire of jazz standards, Latin and their own compositions. In gipsy jazz they find another source of inspiration without imitating the typical gipsy swing trio sound or style. Their musical backgrounds are in the broad area of pop and jazz.Guitarists Ralph de Rozario and Gerhard Turksma prefer jazz improvisation, which remains a constant factor in their performances. MoonArra

Image of 'MoonArra' MoonArra, meaning three streams is about our individual journeys and explorations in world fusion music. Through our many encounters over the years, we shared and exchanged rich and diverse influences from early pop, folk, jazz , rock and Indian Classical styles. Prakash Sontakke has a rich Hindustani Music background, Karthik Mani comes from a strong Carnatic music tradition, Jagadeesh M.R and Madhuri from pop, rock and jazz influences and Wilson Kenneth from playing bass with funk and classic rock bands. Andrew McCormack

Andrew launched his solo career in April 2006 with his debut album, 'Telescope' which gathered great critical acclaim and led to his receiving the BBC Jazz Award for 'Rising Star' in July 2006. Since then Andrew has continued to perform throughout the world with various groups including his own.

In 2010 he co-released 'MY DUO' with saxophonist and composer, Jason Yarde which launched at a sell-out performance at the Queen Elizabeth Hall as part of the London Jazz Festival in Nov 2009.
Andrew has also been a pivotal member of the Kyle Eastwood Band which performs globally and has co-written some of the material on the latests albums.
